Chiizii is an interdisciplinary artist and researcher raised in New York and currently based in London. Her artistic practice, rooted in painting, collage, and textile design, is deeply informed by the exploration of Igbo, Nigerian, and broader African experiences. Through a blend of archival research, community-based oral traditions, and personal memory, she imbues her works with a profound sense of cultural specificity and narrative depth.

Central to her artistic process is the synthesis of diverse materials and mediums, culminating in collages that serve as visual narratives of her research findings. These collages often incorporate found objects, personal and archival photography, and layered paper, offering a multifaceted exploration of key themes and motifs.Additionally, she concludes her research into works on found wood, textile prints, garment and jewelry making, audio installations, and more - each piece contributing to what she describes as "present memory diasporic snapshots."

Her current research aims to establish the significance of art in the communication and maintenance of Igbo food culture. As well a the use of making art as a learning method and presenting art as a teaching method. Recent exhibitions include Frieze London 2023, Lagos Peckham Repeat, South London Gallery 2023, 1-54 Contemporary Art Fair London 2022 and RA Summer Exhibition, Royal Academy 2021,
